  • Brand Information
  • Translated to 'Deep-Sea', the Heavy Shinkai (深海) derives its name from Tanuki's custom milled heavy slub fabric, which employs a range of cobalt and dark indigos reminiscent of waves in the ocean. Cut in a boxy fit, this shirt is rope dyed using a range of natural indigos to help produce the fabric's uniquely dark color and features signature Tanuki branded details along the side seam and right shoulder.
    • Rope-dyed natural indigo will fade with wear
    • Custom heavy slub American cotton fabric
    • "Ni" (二) logo stitching on right shoulder - the Japanese character for the number two and a symbol representing tradition and change
    • Blue side-seam thread
    • 100% cotton
    • Made in Japan
