- This special release from Pure Blue Japan reinvents the ultra-textured Extra Slub Series denim through a natural kakishibu-dye. Made in small batches in Japan, the denim's inky dark indigo surface is contrasted by kakishibu's signature reddish-brown interior to highlight the fabric's heavy slub yarn. As with other styles in PBJ's catalog, the Extra Slub is woven on an old-world shuttle loom using a specialized slow weaving technique to produce the unique texture the brand is renowned for. Finished with custom nickel buttons, a deerskin natural leather patch, and the signature Pure Blue Japan indigofera leaf embroidery.
- 15oz Japanese slub selvedge denim, rinsed to remove shrinkage
- Kakishibu persimmon dyed weft
- The "Slim Straight" fit from Pure Blue Japan has a medium rise, and is slightly slim in the top block with a straight leg from the knee down
- Signature Pure Blue Japan leaf embroidery on back right pocket
- Deerskin natural leather patch
- Blue selvedge line, coin pocket selvedge
